What started as a deep passion for song quickly became the foundation through which God has shaped Melody Noel’s life, instilling in her the desire to help others discover His presence and purpose for their lives as He had done for hers. Every note that she composes, every lyric she sings, and every student she mentors is part of something greater than her and her passion for music, something she now pours into Music School Orange California. It is part of a larger mission that she has felt passionately called to puruse: to awaken hearts to the presence of God and to nurture and inspire students to become worshipers who pursue Him with excellence, humility, and depth in all that they do.

Music has always been more than a career for Melody. It is her calling and a place where she watched her heritage, passion for the art, and faith interwoven and awaken God’s purpose for her life. Having grown up in a family where music was a paramount part of her life, she quickly learned the power that songs held and the spiritual weight that they carried. However, it wasn’t until the moment when she encountered God’s presence through worship that she fully understood the weight and purpose of the gift that God had given her. 

This understanding is what continues to shape Melody’s commitment to and passion for music today as she pursues both the art of composing music and mentoring young musicians who have just begun their journey. Melody seeks to reflect the beauty of what God revealed to her through music—that lyrics are more than just a composition of technicality and sound; they are a uniquely choreographed expression where God meets His children and transforms the longing and desire for purpose that ultimately only He can fill.

Melody’s ministry is built upon three core aspects that build the foundation for the approach she brings to the academy: excellence, encounter, and discipleship.

• Excellence is the aspect of her mission that reflects faith in God and her belief that God deserves the highest level of excellence students can put forth in everything that they do. She instills this understanding in her students, not disassociated from faith but interwoven and embraced with intention and discipline for the purpose that they have been called to accomplish.
• Encounter is the aspect of her mission that seeks to help her students meet God in their journey with music, rather than just sing about Him. She reflects the importance of this through her own music and seeks to inspire students to desire a real relationship with the Lord.
• Discipleship is the ultimate pillar that interlaces Melody’s ministry together. She believes in each and every one of her students as the leaders and vessels of God’s presence and truth. Her ultimate mission is to mentor students into worshipers and followers of the Lord who not only understand but also deeply and dedicatedly accept the weight of that purpose.

These values are what Melody instills in each and every one of the students she works with and the teams that she leads through her work in this Music School Orange California.

After time and dedication saw the expansion of Melody’s mission, she began to see a growing need within the Church: musicians who loved God deeply but lacked training and trained musicians who lacked spiritual grounding. She felt the Lord calling her to bridge that gap and open the door for musicians who are powerfully equipped to bring both excellence and faith to their artistry.

This ultimately led to the establishment of Awaken Music Academy, a Music School Orange California purposed to help students develop both musical excellence and spiritual knowledge to pursue God’s purpose for their lives. The academy passionately integrates prayer and biblical principles, seeking to instill in students the desire to more deeply know the presence of God.

Through working with the academy, students are equipped with the skills that they need to develop in their artistry, but they are also met with the tools needed to develop their character, authenticity, and humility as they embrace their purpose as children of God.

From firsthand experience and through mentoring many young musicians, Melody experienced the depth and power that music has in changing lives. And as she watched people encounter their purpose through worship, her eyes were opened to the calling that she felt put upon her heart—to help others understand the power of faith and song in breaking the chains of the past and embracing God’s calling. 

This is why she writes music, and this is why she mentors students. This is why she created Music School Orange California that goes beyond teaching the technique of musicality and deepens into the work of internal transformation and spiritual awakening that only God can accomplish in a life.

Her mission and ministry behind the music are not simply to help people develop their skill and voice—they are to help them hear God distinctly above the loudness of this world, follow Him courageously, and serve Him faithfully.

Melody’s journey through the music industry helped her to develop a unique perspective on both the pressures of musical performance and the spiritual battles that are intrinsically and inevitably intertwined within the artistic calling. She began to see past the temporal excitement of music. career, coming to deeply understand the beauty of surrender and the power of utilizing one’s gifts for the glory of God.

She seeks to reflect this through her music so that it can help others fervently know the purpose that God has called them to and convictively embrace it. And ultimately, working with the academy, she invites others to begin this same journey as well, to fully encounter God’s presence and know the purpose. He has called them to do. 

Melody continually strives to inspire the young musicians she mentors to become the deep and meaningful worshipers that God has called them to be, and she dedicates her time and knowledge to help them reach this understanding. She is deeply committed to the purpose that she has been called to accomplish, and she diligently pursues her students’ preparation, education, and spiritual faith as they deepen their faith and connection to God’s presence through music.

Through her Music School Orange California, Melody mentors students from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Whether she is teaching, worshiping through her own music, or mentoring young musicians as they begin their personal transformation working with the academy, she is always driven by the fervent desire to awaken hearts to God’s presence. She prays for the purpose of every song that she composes and every student she mentors that they would bring a soft yet undeniable awakening and purpose into the loudness and confusion of the world to inspire the change that only God can truly ignite. 

Melody continues to write and publish music while expanding the ministry of her Music School Orange California. Her dedication and commitment to God’s purpose have found her partnering with churches, working on collaborations with other artists, and pouring her heart and soul into every student she encounters and has the opportunity to mentor on their music and faith-filled journey with the Lord. 

Ultimately, the ministry behind her music is to inspire every student she mentors to embrace God’s purpose for their lives and the gift that He has equipped them with and to share His presence with the world, in both courage and in humility.
